Greetings, Tigers! My name is Ms. Kammy K. Meyers.
I am so thrilled to be teaching at the school that fostered my lifelong love of education! I am a proud Missoula local and Target Range alumni. My husband, Blake, and I are incredibly grateful to be raising our two daughters, Marley and Dempsey, in the Target Range Community.
When I am not at school, you will find me in the mountains. Ski, hike, bike, ride, fish...I love all outdoor adventures! I am also a fitness instructor and avid reader.
Over the last 14 years, I have served as an educator in multiple roles including classroom teacher, instructional coach, and adjunct instructor for UM. This summer I taught a digital graduate-level Literacy Practicum course. I am also a student myself; I am currently in graduate school working on my Educational Leadership Endorsement.
I can’t wait to meet all of you and begin our fifth-grade journey together! I believe the key to a great school year is working hard, laughing often, READING, and having the occasional dance party! I am also a believer that adversity is a springboard for innovation. I am ready to innovate, pivot, and redesign our learning environment as needed to ensure the well-being of my students.
