It is such a delight to have the opportunity to teach art to the students of Target Range and foster their artistic potential. This is my twelfth year at Target Range School and my ninth year as the Visual Arts Teacher for Grades Four through Eight.

 

I have been teaching since 1987 in U.S. public and private schools as well as International schools. I hold a bachelor's degree in Art Education and a Master's in Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. As an art teacher I have taught Kindergarten through Grade 9. I have also served as a full time classroom teacher for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade.

 

Working with children has been my life's passion. I was born and raised in Missoula and come from a family of ten children plus forty-five nieces and nephews! I love spending time with my husband, Joe. Together we enjoy hiking, traveling, and working in our yard. In my spare time, I like to make art, read, write poetry, and bake.
