I am the proud mom of three boys. Reading is my passion. This means, if your student is struggling with finding a book he/she loves, I can recommend one!

I don't assign class novels, instead, I want each student to find a book they have an interest in. We start every class with ten minutes of silent reading. Writing includes narrative, argumentative, and explanatory. We dive into comprehension using short stories, focusing on different literary elements for each story.
