About me
Hello! My name is Brendan McGlynn and I love being at Target Range. I teach the 5-8 bands and the 3rd and 4th grade music classes. I grew up in Missoula and attended the University of Montana for my undergrad degree. I went on to graduate school at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln for my masters and doctorate degrees. My wife Kirsten works for the Missoula Symphony and our two kids attend Target Range.
What you can expect in band/music this year
Students will experience a wide variety of musical styles in the classroom. We will cover rhythm, singing, counting, playing instruments and even acting in the classroom. Every class will perform concerts during the school year and band and choir students will participate in solo/ensemble day at the end of the school year.
