I am thrilled to be a 3rd-grade math/social studies/science teacher and math specialist this year for Target Range! Before teaching at Target Range, I taught around our great state of Montana, as well as Virginia, and Connecticut. My favorite part about school is teaching Math! I have a passion for math! It is so fun exploring numbers, finding patterns, and solving problems! During the year we will be growing as mathematicians, but we will always have time for fun and laughter!

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends! I have a fantastic husband, Mike, two amazing boys, Jackson and Cooper, two dogs named Camo and Poppy, and our cat Baxter. When I am not at school, I enjoy being with my family, running with Camo, Poppy, and friends on the trails or road, rafting, being outdoors, reading, and cooking/baking.

The aim of this additional math instruction is to develop meaning in math using manipulatives, games, and activities. My goal is to deepen your child’s understanding of foundational number skills and reinforce mathematical relationships. During each intervention, a 30-minute group consists of a 5-minute warm-up, a 20-minute game/activity, and a 5-minute paper/pencil task to bridge the learning from concrete (game/activity) to the application of skill (paper/pencil).
